We get one chance to birth our babies, and one chance to start our mothering
journey. The doulas, childbirth instructors and lactation consultants at
Birth Kalamazoo are focused on making that journey as smooth and centered
as possible for the entire family. We can offer specialized tools and skills,
connections to resources, and of course trust in your innate ability to
give birth and mother your baby. Research shows that having this kind of
support significantly improves outcomes for birth and breastfeeding, and
even reduces the chance of postpartum depression.

Our birth doulas, postpartum doulas and lactation consultants serve
families within a 70-mile radius of Kalamazoo, including: Portage, Three
Rivers, Battle Creek, St. Joseph and Benton Harbor, Plainwell, South Haven
and Grand Rapids. (A small mileage fee applies for those more than 40 miles
outside of Kalamazoo.)
